hey people!
I know I've been MIA over a month plus! Life's been really relaxing for me after SPM and I admit that I'm turning into one big lazy bum with my friends all had started college. So how's life for me? Well, my birthday passed, CNY had ended, celebrated a few friends' birthday, went out for movies occasionally, etc, etc... you get it, nothing's new happened. Apart from working on weekends, I'm practically free every weekdays. And what did I do with my free time? I surf! In the Social Network, of course.
If you know me, you must know that I love shoes. I'm mostly an everything person but I especially love shoes. If you too share the same passion for shoes like me, well, scratch the itch with some sky-high platforms and take a trip down to the Shoe Heaven! I'm featuring ChristyNg.com 's custom-made shoes in this post.
I always had a knack for ankle straps platforms and mary janes. A perfect pair of mary janes with affordable price was rare to come across. At least until I discovered Kiss & Tell and fell totally in love with their assorted colours mary janes. Unable to resist the temptation, I ordered a pair of Ashleigh pumps (mary janes) in grey.
These were the assorted colours Kiss & Tell offered. RM89 per pair. The second left one was grey in colour but it looked like denim blue here. Seemed like everyone went for the black one...as usual. After much deliberation and discussions with Nat and Mei Yan, I'd decided to choose the grey one instead, since I already had a pair of yellow sneakers and black ankle boots and hot pink was totally out for me.
I've came across a few really bad business services at blogshops and online boutiques but I've gotta say Kiss & Tell didn't fail to provide great services. And the shoes' quality was okay, better than I expected it would be. They sent out parcels on the day you paid and you'll receive it the very next day, talk about efficient! Though the shoe sizing chart was a little bit inaccurate. My tip: Always go for half a size bigger when choosing shoes with sizes that you're unsure of.
And here's my Ashleigh pumps(mary janes). :)
The platform was approximately 1.35inches and 5inches for the heels. I'm 183cm tall while wearing these!! :D

Okay, back to ChristyNg.com shoes. This online shoes store offers a wide range of glamorous shoes, from ballerina flats to sky-high platform stilettos, you name it. They also have wedding shoes range, which are totally fabulous and elegant. I might not need one but that doesn't stop me from looking at them, it's nice to look at. :)
The shoes are a little pricey if you ask me since the materials are all man-made. But who can resist it with them looking oh-so-fabulous with quality assured? Not a shoe-holic for sure.
Rock your big-event in this stunning studded glittery red-carpet worthy pumps!
This ultra-feminine rosette blush pink pumps with ankle straps is definitely one of my favourite.
Miss Royalty. Pair it with your monogrammed satchel and you're good to go.
It's too bad Kiss & Tell doesn't offer this in red. I adore big, bright red accessories.
Add an edge and wild-ness on your look with this faux python skin ankle boots. This pair is on sale! Do check out the website for the price.
Remember the body-con bandage dress that was so hot last season? This one here will complement the dress perfectly.
Peep-toe heels in Tiffany blue! Another of my favourite. The delicate bow is just so elegant.
Another bow detailed platform. Love this shade!
Take a trip back to the swinging 20s! This flapper-style inspired heels are definitely eye-catching.
Mary Janes with Rose in light pastel pink. Gorgeous isn't it?
If you want something simple yet elegant for a change, well this is the one.
Block colours platform with futuristic design. It's never too loud to wear these.
Classic fuchsia pumps.
This very 80s inspired ballet flats with leopard print is bound to make heads turn.
Pair this with vintage pieces and you are good to go.
How often do you see people wearing green shoes? This kelly green shoes is definitely an eye-candy.
Black oxford booties, perfect for that geeky yet chic librarian look.
Leopard prints are real common. What about a pair of giraffe print flats?
Shimmer your way in this delicate gold sequinned flats.
Love this stylish champagne coloured pumps.
Preppy bow-detailed ballerina flats. Highly versatile if you ask me. :)

hey people!
Robert Pattinson spotted in buzz-cut at the 2012 People's Choice Awards!!!
While you are wondering, heartthrob Rob Pattinson shaved his infamous unruly hair! With a shaven head, Rob still looked undeniably cute, no? Haha. So we all already know that Katy Perry and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows were among the biggest winner of the night at the 2012 People's Choice Awards. While my all-time favourite TV star Nina Dobrev managed to snag the Favourite TV Drama Actress Award home.
But the night wasn't all about the awards; it was also about the fashion. Surprisingly, most of the stars looked quite good sporting in bright and bold colours, detailed sleeves with lace and some fashion-forward, futuristic looks. Emma Stone totally stole the spotlight and made the other stars looked like fashion armatures in her masculine but very chic Gucci suit.
Rob receiving the award for "Water For Elephants" from Ashley Green.
Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale took the fashion risk in this part long and short beaded black dress. I think the result was quite good, don't you think?
Ashley Benson looking very cute in her black and white dress.
Ashley Greene spotted in DKNY's LBD with lace sleeves.
Vanessa Hudgens sparkle her way through the night in this glittery spider-web inspired black dress.
Miley Cyrus looking very chic yet elegant in this plunging neckline dress by David Koma and red pointy pumps by Jimmy Choo. Love her hairstyle!
Miley with the hunky Liam Hemsworth.
Demi Lovato in salmon-coloured Marchesa gown. This gown hugged her curves perfectly!
Emma Stone looking very edgy and fashion-forward in this sleek Gucci suit. Usually green doesn't went well with red, but Emma's red hair complemented this green suit very well.
Nina Dobrev looking demure in this green Elie Saab dress with lace sleeves.
Vampire hunk, Paul Wesley. :)
The oh-so-hot Ian Somerhalder.
Jennifer Lawrence in Viktor & Rolf blue cut-out dress.
Kaley Cuoco. Gotta love this dress!
14-year-old Chloe Moretz looking very age-appropriate and sweet in this emerald green shift dress. Me like!

hey people!
So in case you're wondering where am I, hiding under the rocks or something. I haven't been able to blog as frequent as I used to. Know why?! BLAME IT ON TETRIS BATTLE!! Yes, I got so obsessed with Tetris Battle on facebook and I can't stop Tetris-ing!! =_=
It's kinda annoying actually, you see, everytime I logged on to facebook (which is every single day) I couldn't seem to refrain myself from clicking that "Tetris Battle" button bookmarked on the apps section. And the euphoria of defeating your component is just so great that you can't help it. When I lost to my opponent, I just want to go on for 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th.... round again just to whoop his/her ass. LOL.
Okay, back to Christmas, as you all already know, I spent my few days before Christmas vacationing in PD. Then during Chritsmas Eve, out of the blue, some of my old-classmates decided to hang out since some of us will be sitting all alone in house doing nothing. After the very complicated debate in our facebook group, they decided to catch a movie in MBO's, Subang Parade then have dinner in Empire.
Watched We Bought A Zoo. It was based on a true story in Dartmoor Zoological Park, England. The storyline was predictable and a little cliché but I think that was all okay because I'm expecting it to be extremely heart-warming, you know, those touching scenes that make you oozing with tears in cinema? haha. Got to say I'm a little disappointed. :( It's not as touching as I thought it would be.
Had our sort of Christmas Dinner(not feast!) at Chili's, Empire Gallery. Tharveen, Paran and Preet left right after the movie. The guys actually planned on eating until they puke. Obviously this didn't happen. And guess what, the guys gossip more than girls did! :/ Really, I don't know why they say girls like to gossip but not guys. They should really listen to those gossip-y guys. Had a nice time hanging out with old-classmates and here's the only photo of us @ Chili's during Christmas time.

hey people!
So we're back from Port Dickson! We all do have sun-kissed tan and we ate ice-creams(Well, some of us did, anyway) and they were melting fast! So far this 3 days 2 nights trip had been...fun? Crazy is more like it. We don't have an itinerary planned out and we were stuck in our villa without a car. Basically you can say that we were just going along the flow.
The villa decor was impressive. We took Grand Pool Villa in Grand Lexis, Port Dickson. And the water chalet was in Lexis hotel, right next to Grand Lexis. It's practically the same thing.
This is THE Villa.
They had two Japanese-style king-sized beds. The girls took the bed on the left (except for Charles, he's almost a girl.) while the guys took the other side. The left bed was absolutely gross, know why? People brought up sand and dusts onto the bed. Not to mention I found chips crumbs on it.
The boys' bed was way cleaner than the left one. Don't worry I slept on the floor on the first night.
Those were the water chalets from our villa's view.
And these were the villas. Gorgeous, isn't it?
Steps to the beds.
My favourite part of the villa is the windows. Don't ask me why.
Dry Kitchenette with microwave oven.
The bathroom. Gotta love it, it's huge and totally convenient. And they provide Crabtree & Evelyn shampoo and Shower gel. Don't ask where it all went. hahaha.
The girls took up the entire bathroom and the closet. Muahahaha. Well, except for the shelves on the left.
The mini pool in our villa.
And this was the mini bath tub in the water chalet. It's so small that nobody can fit their whole body in. Ivy, Sze Hui, Kah Seng, Ying Zhe, Wey Ming and Edmund had a foot spa session in it.
Night view from our villa.
Water chalet's interior.
Day 1
We arrived Port Dickson around 11.30a.m. The bus who took the other 14 people arrived later because the bus got lost. Checked into our hotel but the rooms were not ready yet. 19 crazy people ended up walking about 1KM to the nearest mamak stall from hotel and the funny thing was, 19 of us almost took up the tables and chairs available in the mamak. My fried noodles tasted rather bland. And finally when we walked back again to the hotel our rooms were ready! We took our time checking out the villa and chalet, unpacking and getting ready for swimming!!! In the pool. The water was ice-cold. My teeth was chattering like mad. :( The others had fun playing water polo.
The first day was rather boring. 4 people took a cab from the hotel to the nearest restaurant to buy dinner for the rest. Watched After.Life by Christina Ricci. That movie was not worth watching and Christina Ricci was naked all the time in the morgue. Seriously, it's like watching some kind of porn and why can't she put on some clothes? She was only in the morgue for Heaven's sake!
Slept badly on the first night. People kept waking up and making noises, that's what you get for sleeping in a room along with 12 people. The experience of 13 people sleeping in a room was bizarre. And the guys planned on waking up at 5.30a.m. to watch sunrise. Obviously their plan failed. LOL.
Love this pic. She's so cute!
A picture of Bree, Zhou Yue, Kar Munn and Natalie in the villa's pool. I have crooked smile. :(
Went sunbathing with KM on the second day. Actually we hid in the shade more than we sun-bathe while watching the love birds chasing around in the pool.
B, KM. ZY, N, Ivy and Ming Chuen.

I like how the villas looked behind me.
sunset.
Day 2
Second day was the adventuring day. We walked along the beach in the late morning until we found shop lots. Had lunch in a restaurant called Frenz Bay Cafe. My dried kuay teow tasted bland again but I had to admit the fish paste soup was good. The others obviously thought their food were quite okay. Well, good for them. The love birds, Mei Yan and Charles didn't follow along. They were holed up in the villa doing... er well, sleeping. The very friendly restaurant owner told us to take bus to Tanjung Gemuk for a better beach.
This was a spontaneous trip. KM, MC and Galvin didn't want to follow along so they went back to the villa. So I guess it left 14 of us. We took Cityliner to Tanjung Gemuk. I used to go there when I was young. Saw loads of straw hats for sale, snakes and iguana for taking picture with and horse riding. We ate ice-creams and that's how I got the idea of this verse of California Gurls song for my post's title. Some of us went for banana boat riding while the rest simply just sat down enjoying the beach view and blistering hot sun. We hung out at the beach until a drama unfolded in front of us. Guess what we did? We fled!!
On our way back to hotel, we ordered 6 large pizza take-outs for dinner. At night, we screamed our lungs out during karaoke session. And I think ZY went crazy because she couldn't stop screaming and shouting. The guys were like O_O. Shocked to see her like this, I suppose. TROLOLOL. Continued screaming our way until 12.20a.m. and then I don't know who's brilliant idea was to suggest that we hang out at the playground. Seriously, it's 12.30a.m. and they were still swinging on the swing and bouncing up and down on the see-saw. Crazy, indeed. And the after party continued in our villa after we got bored at the playground.
Those 5 people who slept in the chalet came over and we had fun arguing our way through monopoly game session with N, Mei Yan, Martin, C and Zhi Chao. N bankrupt in the end because her advisor fell asleep and someone's annoyed at me because apparently I was in his way on reaching his billionaire goal. Until now, I still haven't receive letter from his lawyer. Hohohoho. The guys watched football game with Man Utd vs I-don't-know-who 4a.m. in the morning. Me and MC went over to sleep in the chalet because we can hardly stand the sandy bed at 5 in the morning. Ying Zhe was sleeping soundly in the chalet and we sort of disturbed his beauty sleep. Oops. haha.
The guys planned not to sleep at all but eventually, their sleepiness finally caught up and they have no choice but to go to bed around 5 in the morning. Needless to say, their attempt to watch sunrise failed. Again. LOL. I heard that Wey Ming even brought like twenty-something packets of instant coffee just to stay awake all night. Double LOL. Seriously, this is hilarious!! :D
Sun-bathing.
KM. Like this pic!
We were sunbathing/watching the love birds chasing around in the pool/taking paparazzi-like pictures of them in the pool. haha.
Taken at Frenz Bay Cafe.
Busy playing Bounce while waiting.
During our wait at the bus stop.
Beach at Tanjung Gemuk!!
Posing a pic before they rode on the banana boat. From left, ZC, WM, E, YZ, Ivy and Sze Hui.
Climbing on board.
And off they went.
The speedboat was towing them.
Picture at Tanjung Gemuk before we left.
From left: Sze Zhen, who-must-not-be-named, KS, ZC, Beh Behh, E, YZ, WM, ZY, N, Ivy, SH and B. Martin was the photog. He was emo at that time so he didn't want his picture taken, no kidding.
And meanwhile the 14 of us went out, the other 5 was left behind in the villa. Guess what they did?

MY and KM ambushed C in his sleep with pillows. LOL.
MC and Galvin were hanging around at the villa, cycling and doing archery.
And C and MY walking around taking vain pics. Apparently C had not seen a shower before.
Neither did MY. Okay, I shall not flood my blog with their vain pics,
During Dinner. From left: N, KM, MY, G, and SZ.
This picture was taken around 12.30a.m. Even the people in it had ghostly effects. LOLOLOL.
Day 3 (Last Day)
Our vacation almost came
to an end. The guys didn't manage to get up early so Ivy and I went for the free breakfast buffet. :D Everyone was extremely confused in the morning due to lack of sleep, I guess. Didn't do anything much, after packing, we sat around playing cards.
Went back home around 1p.m.
In the hotel lobby.
P.D Gang group picture.
In case you were wondering, WM went home early so there's only 18 peope left.
The people on the left were the cool ones, people on the right were the sampat ones. LOLOL
My un-pedicured toes. =3
The stone-embellishment on my right sandal is missing!! How can! :(
Yay!! (*o*)/ This post took me 2 freaking hours to complete, no kidding.
This might be the first and only trip with my high school friends. I'm savouring every moment of it. A huge thank you to Natalie and Mei Yan for organising this trip. Though Natalie was always stressed out and I got scolded from her. But, I'm a KIND young lady. I wouldn't talk back on you. :) Not this time, anyway. And FYI, I think you should know that I'm the super kiam type(stingy). Not that I had a choice because you see I had to pay for this trip on my own and I didn't even have much money leftover for Christmas shopping.
Okay, I'm signing off here.
P.S./ Everyone loved my Bodyshop Cranberry shower gel. haha.
Wonder what happen to our supposed Christmas party during the trip?!!
