hey people
We were feeling Déjà vu all over again!
We’ve attended the #104 Scouts’ 11th Annual Campfire Night. I don’t know why people got the impression of thinking people will get extremely wild and circling around the campfire shouting, screaming and jumping around like hooligans. LOL. I thought the idea was rather funny. In fact, this Campfire Night was a mostly calm one until the end, at least.
Theme for this year is Déjà vuuuuuuuuu. Okay it’s only Déjà vu, I can’t help stressing on the word “vu”. Seriously I don’t know why the organising committee set this as the theme but I guess it kinda worked out in the end anyway. Well, literary. And the best thing was, all the 38 babes were there! It’s been a busy day for us, we went to support Ling and Ivy and the rest of the Vulcanz All-girls squad for the S.O.X. Drum & Dance Grand Finals in the morning at The Curve and then had to rush back during evening to prepare ourselves for campfire night.
Needless to say, our school cheerleaders, Vulcanz won the first place and the celebration party continued during CFN. So far I thought CFN was quite good. Performances were entertaining. I especially loved the “Highly Flammable”. Marvellously done. Emcees were fine as well, not to mention the girls went ga-ga over one of them. Food was okay. The spirits were high and wild during the “After Party”.
Just one thing, the so-called campfire was just a mini campfire. The size was almost the same with the one we had during the First-aid learning camp. Pathetic. :/ I was expecting a huge tall one like we had in Area camp. Too bad.
So basically, we were all happy with it. Organising committees and the scout members involved had done a great job on it.
We didn't realised there was another people capturing, as Jye Sze has phrased it, "The Stars". :D Credits to Chi Ching.

This was the "Highly Flammable" that I'm talking about. I liked this one was because I thought the fire torch were beautiful. Not because of the glistering sweaty hot abs of the guys.
