Scrolled Daisies Birthday Card and Simple Collage Cards

hey people!
Pretty Scrolled Red Daisies.
This is my latest creation. Yes, the design was 100% authentic. :)
I'm not sure what to call this new scrolling technique I'm using. So let's call it scrolled flower okay? Apparently, paper scrolling and crimping usually go with quilling. Before this, I had seen many card makers using this scroll technique and I had never got the chance to try it out myself. I'd say this myself that the results was not bad wasn't it? Totally love the little fringed daisies. ♥
My initial idea for this card was actually only in monochrome colours(means only black and white). I think it would be so cool to create a retro feel black and white card along with black and white pictures. In the end, as you can see, the card ended up with colours. Let's face this, it wouldn't look too good with black and white flowers on a b/w cardstock for a birthday card right? Gonna look very dead. So with a splash of gold, silver and the usual colours for flowers, Ling's birthday card was born. :D
I've put pictures of the 38babes, Ling and her friends. :)
You tell me, pretty, no?
Simple collage Cards
Made this Domo Kun card for my cousin's birthday. Another 100% authentic design.
She specifically pointed out that she wanted Domo on her Birthday card. Found a few scraps of fabric in my art stash leftover from other projects and thank goodness, the colours were just the right shades for Domo. Yeah, it was pretty simple to make. Just a few cut and paste and voilà! It's done!
It's like recycling my fabric scraps and papers. So um, environmental friendly! LOL.
And the best thing of all, she totally loved it! ;)

And this is the card I made for my aunt's new born baby boy. It's for my new baby cousin! This design wasn't my idea though. I copied it from Lin's card shop.
Given a new twist to the Lin's original design by adding a baby tank with a shinny turquoise "B" on it.
